I love me some Ted.

TED.com that is.....

Gever Tulley: 5 dangerous things you should let your kids do Gever Tulley, founder of the Tinkering School, talks about our often-overprotected kids -- and spells out 5+ dangerous things we should let children do. Giving kids the freedom to explore, he says, will make them stronger and smarter and actually safer. This talk comes from TED University 2007. Watch this talk >>

Interesting stuff. I wish he had kids though. It would give him more credibility. There's nothing like sending your own child potentially into harm's way and seeing how you actually feel about it as a parent.

Anyway, you don't really want a tour of my house yet. I've only lived here for 3 months, my house is falling apart (seriously, the kitchen ceiling is now falling down) and I have toddlers who undo everything I attempt to clean up. Someday, though, a blog-housewarming party is in order. Keep checking... (Thanks for the compliment, but I'm pretty sure I only post pictures of the rooms I didn't repaint. I will tell the previous owner you like them. ;) )
