I just counted.

My son has 78 hangers in his closet (all shirts).

My daughter has 73 (shirts & dresses & sweaters & jackets).

Holy Shit.

I'm not sure what a reasonable number is.... but I'm pretty sure it isn't 78 or 73.

Wow!

I recently went through the BoyChild's drawers and got rid of a bunch of his shirts. I think I decided 20 was a good number. It was hard to cull it down to that. I went through them again and again until I got down there. I took a whole garbage bag full of BoyChild clothes to charity and his drawers are still bulging. I really thought 12 or 14 was a more reasonable number of shirts but I just couldn't get there. Maybe next time!

I just kinda did this too. i started packing up the clothes and was wowed at how much each of my kids have, way more than any child needs. I think my youngest son (3 years old) had 29 pants ( not shorts, not pj's, just pants) and twice that many shirts! Way, way to much!!!
