Continuing to Read....

The Help.

The Paris Wife.

Two Anne McCaffrey books I pre-read for Sweet... the Dinosaur Planet ones.... not my favorites and, ultimately, boring for Sweet.

Susan Mallery "Only" trilogy.... I read half of the first one ages ago and got distracted while I read "The Help" and "The Paris Wife" so I just got back to it.  It was perfect smut for this last week.  I finished the third book last night.

Next up is.... hmmmm... I have a James Patterson or The Bonesetter's Daughter.

I loved The Help. I read it to the girls. It was a wonderful movie, too!

I read the Help too. But right after it I got sucked into Lee Child Reacher paperbacks and during the break btwn fall & spring semester zipped through 13 of them. And I threw in the Diana Gabaldon Scottish Prisoner too. It was nice to have time to read. Tho' I did ignore other things. Last Patterson I read was Quickie and while I've been disappointed in how formulaic his books have become, I enjoyed it.

How about Madeleine L'Engle's Time Quartet for the kids? A Wrinkle in Time, A Wind in the Door, Many Waters, A Swiftly Tilting Planet.

I also remember reading Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan books and the Mars books. They were more fun than Nancy Drew or Trixie Belden.

Must check out Lee Child Reacher. I'm waiting for a nice block of time to get into Scottish Prisoner.... I like her books a lot.

I have A Wrinkle in Time.... somewhere... probably in a tub in the shed.

Right now he's on Encyclopedia Brown, Anamorphs & the Narnia books.
