Is it wrong that I send my 6-year-old out to start the car?

A bit ago I realized Hot was sending him out and I figured out what was going on.... so now he's starting my car as well if it is parked in the yard and not the garage. He does a great job... never grinds the starter.
He will also be spending significant time at the farm this summer (he will be 7) learing how to harvest and haul bales. How old were you when you first drove a bale truck? Is it scary that he may be driving the same truck I drove when I was his age??
