This little guy was in my in-law's tree this weekend. My father-in-law scared him when he was trying to raid the bird feeder and he went about 30 feet up a tree. We figure he is a yearling cub.... he wasn't very big... about the size of Gunnar so 45 pounds or so. We didn't see his mom... she's either off having this year's cub or she was around the corner, arms crossed, tapping her foot and wondering where this little guy was.....
