I remember a game in the '83 State C boys basketball tourney -- it was Blue Sky (Rudyard/Hingham) vs. Rocky Boy.
There was a foul against Rocky Boy, and the teams lined up for the foul shot. Meantime, both refs were at the scorer's table with their backs to the action.
While the refs were at the table, one of the kids from Rocky Boy casually strolled across the half court line and punched the shooter right in the kidney -- dropped him like a sack of bricks.
The Blue Sky coach was beside himself, as was most of the crowd, but the refs didn't see anything, so nothing happened.
I don't even remember for sure who won the game (I think Rocky Boy), but I do remember that.
