Ugghhh... you had to bring up paint... we're in the processing of painting the inside of the "new" house. And because I listened to the unnamed one's sq ft calculations, I have 10 gallons of a paint that is called pumpkin spice (yes an orange yellow). It's pretty dominating. I think we'll use 2 gallons of the 10 and put the rest on Craig's list. And I keep trying to make everyone happy, so don't have any of the colors on the walls that I was dreaming of for the past 2 years. In one room, we've got butter yellow that hubby says is peach (it isn't). Bright kindergarten green in another room. The multitude of orange in the kitchen with a faux finish in brown and red that makes it look pretty good (or at least I hope so)- - the brick red I picked out was vetoed ... I so have almost a gallon of that to get rid of too. Minty green in a bathroom. Taupe in another bathroom. Pale aqua in master bedroom. A dark marine blue that is my favorite in the bedroom that will be the media/tv room. Off-white everywhere else. And to get back to the original post... eggshell or satin walls, kitchen & bath gloss in bathrooms/kitchens, and ceiling paint stark white. (And this is with no trim up... it will all probably be semi-gloss.) And to top it off ... all of this paint cost the equivalent of a house payment,

Glossy (I've had good luck with glossy prints lately, they seem to look more "professional".)
Semi-gloss (Isn't is suppose to show less finger prints and dirt?)
Chapstick (Never leave home without it.)
2% (I'm not particular so I just drink whatever the girls need.)
Lustre-no reason.
Satin-fairly washable w/o the shiny.
Both-whatever I happen upon first, although lately w/sub-20% humidity there's more chapstick varieties floating around here.
2%-my entire life, except the few months the baby was on Whole.
