Well, I was starting to wonder if you'd ever come back, Homestead. Been missin' ya!

Are you really selling your house?

Yup. We are selling the "town house" finally. Now I can add slum lord to my resume and move on. It is all a part of my diabolical plan to cut my work week to 30 hours (3 work days plus working from home) so I can spend more time with the babe. The rental income wasn't enough to offset the outrageous property taxes & insurance and still leave us with enough for me to cut my work week... so we are selling it.

I'm a bit sad about the whole thing but I'm adjusting.

I once had a rental all the way across the country. Hired a property manager, which helped me out, but it wasn't profitable enough to bother with.
The babe is going to love more time with mama!

Sierrabella- I just hope I can get my diabolical plan together before the sweet babe is in high school. A big winner lottery ticket would help me so much right now.

It is painful to drive by and see the sad condition of my prized perennial flowerbeds.... I hope whoever gets them next appreciates them.

Ugh! I here you, I still have my house in Portland and I can't bring myself to drive by it when I'm there.

Mourn it and let it go. Glad to see you're still here.

Greenie-

How can you stand it? Do you have renters? My renters are very good with everything except taking care of the existing flower beds.... which frosts me because I intentionally made them very easy to care for when I created them... they aren't even doing the bare minimum.

I'm still around but being outside trumps blogging any day..... I'm saving up stories for those cold winter days when it gets dark at 3:30 in the afternoon.
