The grasshoppers are INSANE this year. When I walk to the burning barrel (that's "garbage can" for all the non-country folks), it's like getting bombed with winged, beady-eyed shrapnel. *shudder*
PS is that your family who has a farm just on the outside of T'send?
SB- They eat most things but some do ok.... Peonies. Salvia. Russian sage. Daisies. Coreopsis. Peppermint. Silver mound. I can't think what else is in those beds.... but those things do ok.
SP- Nope, not even related.... but I'd sure like to have that farm. We're, ahem, further north.
