Easter Sunday Branding: The Preparation
Yes, sorting cows while holding kids is SOP around here. Tough kids and gentle cows.
And the generation after that cowboys in Pampers, sunscreen and hoody sweatshirts....
Yes.... most people do call him Doctor. (Father Christmas also comes to mind.....)
About now he's swearing because he doesn't have a sharp knife.... I offer to go home and get the new mini Pampered Chef knife my mom got me......

I wish I'd gotten video of the hook in action.... it is slick for grabbing calves by the hoof so you can doctor them.
We still don't know what he is thinking......

WTF? The calves all let themselves into the feeder..... so we took out a section and, ta-da, that whole group was sorted away from their mama's.
I wonder what he is thinking....

Kids on the counter. Much frosting being consumed. Must be the holidays. Want the recipe?
Fabulous Chocolate Frosting
12oz (2 cups) chocolate chips
1/2 c (1 stick) butter
8oz sour cream
4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Melt chocolate chips and butter over low heat. Let cool 5 minutes or so. Stir in sour cream. Blend in powdered sugar with hand mixer. Frosts a layer cake. Oh... FYI... this makes WAY too much frosting for a 9x13 cake. So just eat it with a spoon.
